So, that is the list of things I put on my suitcase, backpack, and sling bag. I am glad I bring some of my small hanger, so I could wash and hang things on it. I regret, I do not bringing much spices, snacks, and other foods from Indonesia because you know what even though the price of groceries here are affordable for European city and there are a lot kinds of yogurt, milk, butter, cheese, and bread. You will still wanted to feel the taste of your home town so bad (I already spent 4 days here and I want to eat Nasi Puyung so bad!) I am glad I bring some of my organizer box, so that when I unpack some of my necessities, I could put them nicely. :)

I do not pack so many clothes, it is only taken a half of my suitcase. There are some other stuff I decide to throw out of my suitcase the last minute before I go, it gives more space for things I probably bring back home later on (yay!)  I suggest you bring power strip, so that you could charging some of your electronics at the same time. I manage to put all of the stuff in my bags, thanks to Ziploc bags!, there are vacuum bag out there of course with more expensive price if you prefer, but the regular Ziploc bag help me a lot to save space and organize my suitcase. It is so bad that I do not take the picture of my suitcase after I put all of my stuff. Maybe I will update the post, when I pack home (still in January though :p)

Good luck on your packing adventure!

Here, you can download packing list that I make.

2015: The first thing I wanted to be real (it is not a dream!)

There are things we want to achieve or simply have. It is also apply to me. For about three years of studying in the Uni, I feel like I have not achieve anything which have a big impact to my life as a person.

Okay, honestly I have one achievement in the beginning of the year, graduating from the Uni. It is an achievement after all, right? I don't know why, but I want to find myself this year. I want to experience things I haven't experience before and getting to know my self better. Last month, I celebrate my birthday, again, and every year I feel like I am getting older but not getting wiser. :p And I know God always hear what I feel inside, then I saw a post from the International Relations Office (IRO) about one particular exchange program. I applied for my Uni cooperation program with Universitat Jaume I for a semester study in Castellon de la plana, Spain. It was my first time joining such program offer by my campus, and I am so thrilled and excited to know the result. On May 28th, the email came! It was such a happy news! I GOT IN!

I know that it will be different experience, not just exciting but also challenging. Imagine, being away from your home town, even your country, to the place you havent seen in real life before. Studying in Jogja is not the same with studying in Europe. Since I was a little girl, my family would spent days here during holiday, went to Malioboro, visited our relatives, even I have visited Borobudur and Prambanan many times. While, on the other hand, I haven't go abroad before even though I have passport from five years ago (laugh). This program will take me to SPAIN! God! It is about 12, 000 kilometers away from Indonesia. Long way to go, huh?

I did this by myself - over excited mode! Hahaha

So, overall I am blessed and happy to get this opportunity. I am able to understand more how God love me by giving this chance. Alhamdulillah. :) It will be fab but a lot of things need to be prepare, from the documents, packing with one big suitcase, and last but not least myself. I should prepare my self, mind and body. The temperature will be different, there are four seasons while here only two, my body should be healthy enough to face the quite extreme (I guess) climate, even though Castellon de la Plana located near the coast, but better prepare than freeze by cold, right? The most important thing I need to prepare would  be my mindset, the different culture and environment (we talking about western and eastern culture here) would push me to my edge, and I should prepare to adapt and accept the differences. I have read from an article about study abroad, the writer said:
we should be half-empty when we study abroad
It means that we have to be able to learn new things while we study abroad, the half empty part of our self should be fill with new knowledge, experience, and understandings. But, we should not go full-empty, we have something to share also to our new friends there, how our culture is and showing them that even though we have differences, we also have similarities, we are all human, and no human is perfect. I know for sure that this will be an experience I will remember all my life. :)

Gonna do a lot of drawing like this when I get there, hopefully :)
Thanks for reading my blog guys, I wish I could update this blog more often from this day on. Have a great Monday tomorrow!

2015!

It has been a very long time since I post something to my blog. 2015 already!
God! Time flies, a lot of things need to post in order to catch up about my life.
So, it is 2015. I already graduated from my study in undergraduate degree in international relations major, right on February 14, 2015, yes, right on valentines day.
Already got a title behind my name, duh.

It was a blessed that I can complete my study this year and have my mother and sister came to see me in my toga. Yeay! But the journey does not end in the graduation, it is started right after. It was such a great day to have all my good friends come and support me, bouquet and chocolate they gave are only small things compare to their affection and care. Good luck for you guys, I will be there see you guys in your toga  ;) Right after the graduation, I head back home for two weeks of graduation holiday. What a wonderful gift that God has granted me in the beginning of this year. Alhamdulillah.

That is all I have to say to started this blog again.

Love,
M
